I needed a new battery that lasted longer than two seconds, and so I found this one. It's cheap and it works. So far, the battery lasts about two hours. If I put the laptop on its more conservative power setting, I can push this to two and a half hours. It's certainly doable for a cheap battery. However, if I bump my laptop too much, it will die on me due to the battery not being connected as well as I like. This may be a failure on the part of the laptop as well, since it is possible my laptop is dying a slow death despite my attempts to repair. Since I cannot isolate if this is the battery or the laptop itself, I've included this in the review just in case others experience this as well.

Overall, it's cheap, it works, and it gives me a chance to use the laptop without a cord, which is really the main purpose for a laptop. So if you need a cheap battery to tide you over until you can refurbish your laptop properly, go with this.
