My computer is about 2.5 years old as of this review. It originally came with a 6 cell 4000 mAh battery. Even when I first purchased my compuer the battery could not power my 17" workhorse laptop for very long - perhaps 2 hours at the most. Lately it has lasted 45-60 minutes even with Power Savings settings.

So, to stretch the life of my laptop, I decided to order a replacement battery. No way was I going to purchase a battery from Toshiba for $150 considering my computer is 2.5 years old and only cost $700 at the time of purchase. Also, many new computers are $600-$700 with fine specs for what I do, so it would be hard to justify $150 plus shipping on a battery alone.

In comes this battery. It is a 9 cell 6600 mAh replacement battery similar to what Toshiba sells. However, I was able to pick it up from Amazon for $58. It arrived today and I have good news to report:
1. It fit my laptop perfectly
2. It very closely resembles the original equipment battery in look, feel, and weight
3. After a charge, I have used my laptop for 90 minutes and I still have 62% of my battery remaining. Therefore, I have estimated about 3-4 hours of use on a single charge - much better than my original battery!

If you have a Toshiba laptop and you are considering a purchase of a Superb Choice battery, I say go for it - I would highly recommend them. The battery came quickly, it was well packaged, and most importantly it fits and works great. Time will tell if the battery continue to performs this way for weeks and months - if there is a significant change I will place an update on my review.
