I think this battery seems to be working very well so far! I really like the long life of this battery and its nice to be able to unplug the computer from the wall and not have it die on me right away. I believe as with most things, you do have to take some care with batteries. You can't let them get too hot and make sure the computer stays well ventilated to keep the battery from overheating and shortening its life.

I think this other reviewers are not reading their directions and just keeping the computer on while changing the battery out. If you do buy this...shut down your PC, replace the battery, plug it back in and let it charge for a few hours before turning it on. I had absolutely no problem with the battery after doing this. I think it works very well and I like how there is a 12 month warranty on the battery.
