While I was a bit worried about buy a battery cheaper than OEM (this is much cheaper) I found that the price point allowed me to take a risk.

This battery (I have two similar ones, but for different computers, from the same manufacturer) is relatively comparable to the OEM battery. It seems to power the computer for about 25% less time than the OEM, but several weeks after getting both of them, I found apage of instructions (detailed) about how to best condition and use the batteries the first few cycles. Had I seen these instructions and used them, I might have had a longer battery life.

At the price, though (given that these computers are 4 and 6 years old) they have been great!

Note that the original rubber covering will not be present. It will either be a slick hard plastic, or it will be a soft-textured hard plastic, with rubber feet that are smaller (and less likely to fall off) than the OEM.
