I've been without a working battery for almost a year because I was scared to buy a replacement battery. What if it didn't work? What if it "messed up" my laptop? Well, this replacement battery seems to work just as well as, if not better than, the original battery! And no ill-effects to my laptop, either.

Overall, very impressed.

Battery life is around 3-4 hours when using the "VAIO Optimized" power setting, and closer to the 4.5 hour range when using "Power Saver". I don't use the "High Performance" setting, so I don't know what the battery life would be there. I can say, though, that the battery life of this battery is very similar to the OEM battery that came with the laptop. :)
