I've been using this battery for a month or so and encourage you to consider buying a different product. It doesn't hold a charge for as long as the original unit. My computer gets a max of about two hours battery life from full charge(I use fairly aggressive power saving settings) and if it sits for four or five days without being used I can plan on immediately having to plug in the laptop when I do turn it on.

That being said, I gave it two stars when I could have gone with one because despite being disappointed, I am in a better position computer-wise than I was a month ago. My rational: 1) I had hoped for a better product, but for under $20 this sort of low quality is almost to be expected and 2) I didn't have a functioning battery before, and now I do (sort of).

Bottom line: Spend a few extra bucks and get a better battery, or buy this one and set your expectations low.
