Laptop/Notebook Battery for Dell Studio Review

I bought this battery after reading some of the other reviews on this site. I was hoping for an economical replacement for my Dell Studio 15.

It worked great for about three weeks. Now it's stopped charging and is stuck at about 25%. It doesn't matter how long I leave my laptop plugged in. The battery doesn't charge.

UPDATE:

I wrote this review a couple days ago. Since then I've done some research, and I've seen a lot of people with Dell computers complain that they are having problems with their battery not charging. Many have Dell batteries and others do not. It appears to be a fairly widespread issues covering many Dell models, and from what I can tell nobody can really identify the problem. I've read things that range from having a bad motherboard to having an out of date BIOS to Dell computers intentionally disabling charging when they detect an aftermarket battery.

Based on this, I am no longer confident that there is some manufacturing defect in this battery. Yes, it still doesn't charge, but I now believe this is more likely the result of my computer detecting it as an aftermarket battery rather than some defect with the battery itself. Of course, it makes little difference whether the battery doesn't work because of a mfr. defect or a general compatibility problem, but I did want to clarify.
