After my Dell computer disappeared from my wife's car together with the left rear window, I purchased the Toshiba. The great price from Amazon clinched the deal. Since I received it, the machine worked well although I needed to call Toshiba support because I could not register my upgrade to windows 7 Ultimate. I love the Toshiba dashboard and extra software included. As a 64 bit machine it lacks compatibility with many software program such as Window Meeting. Although my printer worked with my Dell running Windows 7 Ultimate, it does not work with this machine, a problem Toshiba will not help resolve.

An update on the Toshiba L67D. I bought two 4 GB chips from an Amazon vendor to update the machine to its maximum memory. When installed the computer would not boot up. I check to make certain I had the correct memory which I did. I then replaced the chip in the top memory slot with a 2 GB chip, bingo the computer booted up. It works with either of the 4 GB chips in the lower slot but refuses to boot up with either in the top slot making the maximum memory I can install at 6 GB. I contacted Toshiba about this problem as the machine is still under warranty. They refused to do anything about the computer since the memory came from Amazon.

I also face a problem that after several hours of operation, the keyboard enters consecutive numbers no matter which key I enter, numbers or alpha keys. Toshiba does not know how to handle this problem and again refuses to deal with it.

I did get the printer to work by installing a driver for a similar HP Laserjet printer.
