Received the product right away. Product fits snugly on the laptop, slightly tighter than the factory battery pack. (required a little more force to lock it into place) The product props the laptop up slightly, giving a great deal of airflow underneath. This was perfect as my Dv7 notebook heats up very quickly, and I have always had to prop it up using random things lying around. (Eventually becoming a stand with fans underneath)

After installing the battery, I noticed my battery app was only showing 6400 mah, when the product is labeled 7800 mah... I asked amazon about it and they could not confirm or deny, and suggested I send the product back in and order from another manufacturer. Unfortunately, I could not take care of it in time, so I am stuck with this battery.

It does the job, and I am not terribly upset about the fact that the capacity seems a bit lower than advertised as it is still much better than the basic one I had before.
