I thought buying the 8 cell battery as opposed to 6 cell one would give me longer battery discharge time. Wrong! The battey doesn't hold charge for long. Maybe 40 minutes constant use from 100% charged. My laptop goes to hibernation when the battery meter shows more than 50% juice in it.
