It doesn't give you quite the run time that it promises.. I get about 2.5 hours, sometimes three. All in all, a good value for the money. It has extended the life of an aging laptop. I use it mostly on aircraft and it lasts the majority of the (domestic)flight segments in most cases. I do run my laptop with the brightest screen setting as I have a privacy sheild over the screen to keep nosey neighbors from reviewing company material. If you lower the brighness setting the battery will last longer between charges.
