My viao laptop died on me and since it was my first laptop and a gift as well I was unaware that the batterries have a finite lifespan. I was this close to ordering another laptop but since I truly only use it for email and online shopping I figured I'd find a cheap battery and see if it does the trick. Well, it works now so thats good. I'd say battery life is only about 30-60 minutes once unplugged but I don't travel with it so no big deal. All in all a good band-aid until I bite the bullet and get another laptop.
