I have found that the market for replacement laptop batteries can be a real crap-shoot, and with that said, so far this replacement battery for my Dell 700M is working out pretty well. Replacement batteries can be judged in three areas, speed of charge, length of time the charge is held and life span of the battery. So far, this product charges quickly and holds it's charge as expected. Only time will tell if the lifespan of the battery is acceptable. I'm going to give this product five stars because it shipped on time (from Amazon), arrived in good condition, fits the laptop perfectly and it charges/discharges as expected. If at any point I find that the life cycle has been diminished prematurely (subjective, obviously) I'll come back and report the lifespan precisely and adjust the rating accordingly.
