I've had this 12 inch Ibook for many years as it was one of the first sold. Since then I have purchased several other mac's but I always liked the size of my Ibook. The original battery lasted very long but after all these years it was down to about ten minutes battery life. I even considered sending my Ibook off to recycle heaven. Then I decided to search for a replacement battery. Wow! A new battery was more expensive than my Ibook was worth. I checked the Amazon site and found this battery with such a low price and free shipping. My prayers have been answered. The battery arrived quickly. I was impressed. It looked just like the original and it fit perfect. Right out of the box it had a 50% charge. After an overnight charge it was up to 100%.
