Lenmar LBLR400X Laptop Battery for Lenovo Thinkpad R400 Series, T400 Series and T61 Series Laptop Computers Review

Nothing wrong with the battery, but it doesn't interface well with the Lenovo software (firmware/bios). When the battery gets to about 15% charge, the laptop shuts down. Not a clean shut-down, just an instant power-off with all the software & file corruption issues associated with it.

I don't blame the battery, it's really Lenovo going out of their way to make 3rd party batteries particularly painful. That said, they've set the consequences high enough that I can't reccomend the battery.

Also: every time you login, there is an annoying message about non-approved battery vendors.
