I bought this battery. </thanks captain obvious> The thing is pretty big, causing my laptop to sit at about a 12-degree angle of the laptop. That's a nice thing, because it makes typing easier.

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 on my machine, and the acpi package (which tells you stuff about power) is currently reporting about 7 hours remaining on a 95% charge.

On my old factory-included battery, at least at the point in its life at which it was replaced, acpi would report about 2.5 hours left on a similar percentage charge. Additionally, it was also reporting: "design capacity x, last full capacity 0.8x", with the x-based expression replaced with actual numbers. This was evidence of the time to change.
